Camera

Motype’s camera lets you apply a 3D offset to the entire stage to provide an interesting view field for the animation. You can also choose the auto-animate option to move and/or rotate the camera on a particular axis during the animation.

Position

Auto-Animate
This menu provides an auto-animated interpolation from start to end positions around a chosen axis.
When you choose an axis, new parameters appear to define the interpolation, duration, start and end
positions values :
• X : Move the camera around the X axis based on the Start/End Values.
• Y : Move the camera around the Y axis based on the Start/End Values.
• Z : Move the camera around the Z axis based on the Start/End Values.

Interpolation
This menu provides different interpolations modes from the start to the end of the camera movement.
See
interpolation for more details.

Duration
Defines a duration for the camera position animation. The value in expressed in frames.

Start Value
Defines the position Start Value.
You can vizualise the result by setting the timeline at the beginnig of the layer.
Motype will then interpolate from the Start to the End value. Values Are expressed in
units.

End Value
Defines the position End Value in “auto-animate” mode.
You can vizualise the result by setting the timeline at the point defined by the Duration.
Motype will then interpolate from the Start to the End value.Values Are expressed in
units.

X,Y,Z Positions
Sets position offsets of the camera. Note that value is cumulative with Start/End position values, so
you can add 3D offset to the entire animation.

Rotation
See Camera Position, prinicipes are the same. Values for X,Y,Z are expressed in angles.
